Request it when needed: give the connection between a phone and an application server priority for a set time, keeping latency and speeds stable even when the network is congested.
The service provider specifies the device, connection destination, quality level, and duration (1 hour).
The network completes setup, keeping this connection stable even during congestion.
When the duration expires, the connection returns to normal. If needed, you can extend it before it expires.
Quality levelChoose from the quality levels the operator offers. Use QoS Profiles to look up the details.
ExtendYou can extend it before expiration, as long as the total duration stays within the limit for that quality level.
Quality on Demand: How it works
- RequestThe service provider sends the device, application server address, QoS level, and duration.
- ActivateThe network gives this connection priority. The status changes to AVAILABLE, and a notification can be sent.
- EndThe session ends when the duration expires, the service provider deletes it, or the network terminates it. The status changes to UNAVAILABLE, with a reason included.
