The bank subscribes to a phone number and specifies a URL for notifications.
When the SIM for the phone number is swapped, the operator sends an event notification to the bank's system.
A subscription can have an expiration time or a maximum number of notifications. A notification is also sent when it ends.
How this differs from a SIM Swap queryWith a query, the bank asks the operator. With a subscription, the operator notifies the bank as soon as a SIM swap occurs.

SIM Swap Subscriptions: How it works
- Create subscriptionThe bank sends the phone number, the notification URL, and the event type “swapped”.
- Wait for an eventOnce the subscription is active, the operator monitors SIM swap records for this phone number.
- Send notificationA SIM swap triggers an event notification. When the subscription expires or reaches its event limit, an end notification is sent.
